Clark Fork Outfitters is a family-owned business that operates on approximately 110 square miles of remote backcountry wilderness in the Kaniksu National
Forest. There is no region in the lower 48 states that can offer a more remote and diverse wilderness experience...at the doorstep of this great natural resource is Clark Fork, Idaho.
The hunting trips we offer are full service, fully guided to
give you the best time in this incredible area. You only
need bring your hunting gear, weapon and ammo... we will
take care of the rest! All hunts include one guide for two
hunters; but, if you wish, we can arrange a one on one
opportunity at an additional expense. All hunts include
meals, lodging, hunting license, applicable taxes.
The nearest airport is Spokane, Washington (approximately 2 hrs. from the ranch) We conduct only trophy hunts:

Elk Hunting:
Elk hunting starts August 30th thru September 30th
October 10th-November 3rd
December 10th-23rd
We have one of the earliest bugling seasons in the country! We'll be hunting these big bulls over clear cuts, bowls and basins. Spot and stalk with two hunters and a guide produces close to 70%
opportunity for our hunters in this six day hunt. These massive bulls
can go between 300 to 350 class. Many 5x5, 6x6 and some illusive 7x7's. |
Mountain Lion Hunting:
One of the most exciting and enjoyable hunts for all
of us at Clark Fork Outfitters is horseback and
snowmobile hunting with hounds for Mountain Lion. With
approximately 110 square miles of prime habitat, we
produce almost 100% opportunity on big cats. Most
could make the Pope & Young record book. This hunt
takes place for six days from Dec 2 - Feb 15.
These hunts book fast...Don't wait! |

Bear Hunting:
One of my favorites for the hunter is our Black and Color Phase Bear Hunt. In unit 4A, we conduct Fall spot and stalk,
or over bait hunts from August 30th to October 31st.
We operate a Spring season from April 15 to May 30th over bait with fixed position stands
and spot and stalk. You should experience a high success rate on this hunt with many bear making the record book averaging out at 6.5 to 7 feet square!
This is definitely a hunt you don't want to miss! |
